Material Introduction: PP China Shenhua L5E89 is low‑MFR homopolymer polypropylene with favorable comprehensive properties, mainly used for flat‑yarn and fiber production.
Main Applications
Woven products: woven bags, tarpaulins, FIBC bulk bags, carpet backing, sofa fabrics, strapping materials, ropes and other articles. Good tensile strength and low elongation make it suitable for above‑mentioned applications.
Fibers & monofilaments: civil yarns, industrial yarns, carpet yarns.
Injection‑molded products: Some suppliers mention applications in daily‑use articles, toys and home appliance housings. Nevertheless, this grade is optimized for extrusion and flat‑yarn processing. It may not be the optimal choice for injection‑molding, especially complex or thin‑wall parts.

Processing Parameters

| Barrel Temperature | 180‑280℃ | Homopolymer PP melting point:165‑170℃. For low‑MFR grade L5E89, adopt medium‑high temperature range (200‑260℃) to realize sufficient plasticization. |
| Mold Temperature | 40‑80℃ | Recommended:50℃. Higher mold temperature improves surface gloss and dimensional stability; lower mold temperature shortens molding cycle. |
